Privacy Policy

Effective: May 19, 2026 · Last updated: May 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how International Player Services ("IPS", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information that visitors and prospective applicants provide through this website.

IPS supports international student-athletes through eligibility-readiness, visa-readiness, and cross-border documentation. We collect only the information needed to deliver that support.

1. Information We Collect

Through the consultation request form (the "Form") we collect:

  • Athlete name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Country of origin
  • Sport and current school or team
  • Graduation year (when provided)
  • Documentation status and the type of support requested
  • Optional attachments such as transcripts or supporting documents
  • Free-text notes the requester chooses to provide

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. For applicants between 13 and 18, we expect a parent or guardian to be involved in the submission.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information you submit to:

  • Review your readiness request and reply by email
  • Coordinate documentation, eligibility-readiness, and visa-readiness steps
  • Communicate with you, your representative, or your support team about your case
  • Operate and improve the IPS website

We do not sell information. We do not use submitted information for advertising. We do not run analytics, A/B tests, or engagement-metric tracking against editorial decisions.

3. Information Sharing

We share information only when needed to support your request, and only with:

  • Bryant Johnson, founder, and other IPS staff working on your case
  • Legal counsel (currently Nicholas McCormick of McCormick Law) when a case involves visa, transcript, or eligibility steps that require legal review
  • Regional partners (for example IPS West Africa) when geographically relevant to your case
  • Universities or athletic programs that you have explicitly authorised us to contact on your behalf

We do not share information with data brokers, advertisers, or analytics vendors.

4. Data Storage and Security

Submitted information is stored in IPS-controlled cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure). Uploaded files are stored in Azure Blob Storage. Database records are stored in Azure SQL. Authentication is handled by ASP.NET Core Identity with industry-standard password hashing.

We apply security headers, transport security (HTTPS), rate limiting on the consultation form, anti-forgery tokens, and HTML sanitisation on free-text fields. No method of transmission or storage is one-hundred-percent secure; we make reasonable efforts to protect your information.

5. Cookies

The website uses essential cookies only:

  • An anti-forgery cookie set when a form is rendered, to prevent cross-site request forgery
  • An authentication cookie set when an IPS administrator signs in

We do not set analytics, marketing, or advertising cookies. We do not embed third-party tracking pixels.

6. Your Rights

You may at any time request:

  • A copy of the information IPS holds about you
  • Correction of inaccurate information
  • Deletion of your record (subject to legal retention obligations)
  • Withdrawal of consent for future contact

To exercise any of these rights, email admin@internationalplayerservices.com from the address you used to submit your request. We respond within fifteen business days.

7. International Transfers

IPS infrastructure runs in the United States. If you submit information from outside the United States, you consent to that information being transferred to and processed in the United States. We comply with applicable cross-border transfer requirements when handling data from EU, UK, and other jurisdictions with specific protections.

8. Children's Privacy

This site is intended for student-athletes, their families, support staff, coaches, and universities. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under thirteen. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under thirteen without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
