IPS West Africa

Anchoring the West African student-athlete pathway from Senegal to Cameroon.

Led by Joe Lopez →

West Africa is the densest concentration of basketball talent on the continent. From Senegal's storied programmes to Nigeria's flagship federations, the region has produced wave after wave of international student-athletes whose paths into U.S. NCAA basketball have, historically, depended on chance encounters and unverified intermediaries.

IPS West Africa, led by Joe Lopez, is the regional answer. The work is documentation-first: transcripts, visa-readiness, eligibility-readiness, lawful enrollment. The basketball is the easier half. The paperwork is what closes doors.

Documented Players

The Roster

Every player surfaced through IPS West Africa carries the same baseline file: country-of-origin school records, language verification, NCAA core-course audit, and a documentation timeline that aligns with U.S. enrollment windows. The goal is straightforward - no shortcuts, no doors that close behind you, no contested eligibility two seasons in.
