Nika currently serves in admissions leadership at Franklin University (Switzerland), where she works extensively with international transcripts, student documentation, and visa processes for students navigating global education pathways.
Following Virginia Tech, Nika continued her academic and athletic journey at Nova Southeastern University, where she completed a Master of Science in Experimental Psychology with a concentration in Neuroscience while competing as a graduate student-athlete. Her background includes research leadership, data analysis, interdisciplinary collaboration, and student support initiatives.
A former Division I student-athlete at Virginia Tech, Nika competed for the Hokies Women's Tennis program while balancing elite athletic performance with academic excellence. During her time at Virginia Tech, she earned multiple ACC Academic Honor Roll distinctions, ITA Scholar-Athlete honors, and served as Team Captain, reflecting her leadership both on and off the court.

Within IPS, Nika serves as a Cross-Border Education Specialist focused on helping student-athletes and institutions navigate the increasingly complex intersection of admissions, academic eligibility, international transcripts, and global mobility. Her firsthand understanding of the student-athlete experience (from Slovenia to the NCAA system and now into international university admissions leadership) gives IPS valuable perspective in building trusted pathways between athletes, institutions, and global education systems.
Nika's role strengthens IPS's long-term vision of becoming a globally trusted advisory network capable of supporting international students and athletes through every stage of the academic and athletic transition process.
