THE JOURNEY
3 StopsJourney
As Founder of Dreals Paris, Jean-Marc has emerged as one of the leading advocates for the growth of 3x3 basketball across the African continent. Since launching the organization in 2017, he has focused on building sustainable tournament structures, youth engagement initiatives, and culturally driven sporting events designed to create opportunities both on and off the court.
Through Dreals Paris, Jean-Marc helped organize major 3x3 events in Lomé and Niger, working alongside federations and local communities to introduce sustainable competition models and year-round engagement opportunities. His broader vision extends beyond basketball itself, emphasizing social impact, physical wellness, youth empowerment, arts, culture, and gender equality through sport.
Jean-Marc's introduction to 3x3 basketball came while he was studying and competing semi-professionally in France. After attending international FIBA 3x3 events in Beijing and Penang, he recognized the sport's unique accessibility and global potential. Inspired by the format's energy and adaptability, he made it his mission to bring structured 3x3 development programs to Africa.
