As both captain and veteran leader, she helped guide the team through multiple eras of growth, international competition, and organizational transition, including Nigeria's historic quarterfinal run at the 2018 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup and Olympic competition on the world stage. Her 2025 AfroBasket championship run came less than a year after giving birth to her son.
After beginning her collegiate career in the United States, Sarah earned her degree in Biology and Pre-Medicine while competing collegiately before continuing into a successful professional career across multiple countries, including France, Spain, Egypt, Senegal, Mali, Mozambique, and beyond. Her experiences as both an athlete and professional positioned her as a leading voice in the future of African player development.
Raised in New York City by Nigerian parents and deeply connected to her Nigerian heritage, Sarah built a basketball journey defined by resilience, discipline, leadership, and long-term vision.
